The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers. All pupils in Reception to Year 2 receive Universal Free School Meals but pupils in Years 3 and 4 who are eligible for the Pupils Premium are also entitled to receive free school meals.
Schools can choose how we use the extra funding to enhance the learning experiences that we provide for these children. This could include, for example small group intervention programmes, additional training for our staff in working on specialised areas such as speech and language, investing in additional resources or covering some of the costs of wrap around care, class trips or special in school events.
If you believe that your child is eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant, please contact the school office or log on to the RBWM website to apply:
Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how plan to use the funding this year.
